The Daily Quarantine Schedule Anyone Living In Nashville Will Relate To
The Corona virus has put life in Nashville on hold as of late, especially after the tornadoes that swept through the city just a few weeks ago. It’s been a hard couple of weeks. Still, Music City has shown up in spades, neighbors have helped neighbors, friends have helped friends. The city knows how to respond to heartache with a smile and a bit of Southern charm. If you’re quarantined in Nashville, then this laughable schedule might make you smile. Here’s to you, Music City. You’ve got this.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Our city has been through the ringer, but we love Music City more than anywhere else in the world.

Now that there’s a glut of time in the morning, you can finally attempt to copy the famed Loveless Cafe biscuit recipe. Good luck, though. It’s been a secret for years and years.

…then turn it off. Quickly. Return to your normal routine. Eat those biscuits!

Perhaps clean to the sound of one of the EP’s one of the musicians down on Broadway gave you weeks ago. It’s time to dust those off, folks. You have time to listen to them now!

Let’s get back to our southern roots with a classic dish that hails from the American south. Add a bit of cayenne for that heated Nashville twist!

But there’s nothing on the grocery store shelves. So no need.

Stay six feet away from folks at all times, but now is the time to get those wriggly kids outside and gift them an afternoon that’s full of vitamin D.

Read a book. Play your favorite instrument. Take a nap. Wash your hands. You know the drill.

It’s a free-for-all, folks. It’s time to eat through all the food you’ve squirreled a way in your freezer.

Ice cream and that age-old classic you’ve been putting off for years? Maybe the cookies you stress-baked earlier and a cartoon for the kids?

…there’s nowhere more beautiful to walk and “socially distance” than Nashville. Stay in your neighborhood, say hi to the neighbor…but then again, you’d do that normally, wouldn’t you?

Snooze and think about the days that you can walk the streets of Broadway again, and sink along to the Honkytonk bands. It’ll come faster than you think.
