Order A Picnic To Go From Lou, A Local Favorite Restaurant In East Nashville
Nashville has seen its share of storms in 2020, literally and figuratively. It’s been an encouraging thing, to see the community rise to help those in need and watch restaurants and hospitality pivot on a dime to provide meals and comfort to others. Lou is an East Nashville eatery that combines aesthetic with great tasting meals, and the team has just recently introduced picnic meals to-go. Grab something good to eat and set up in your backyard, at the park, or even just in your car with the AC turned up. There’s something for everyone at Lou!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Lou is located in East Nashville, Tennessee, and has made a name for itself as a purveyor of gourmet eats and a stunning, rustic-inspired aesthetic.

The Nashville must-try initially made a name for itself as an all-day brunch restaurant that also operates as a wine bar. Naturally-inspired and wildly chic, the interior takes its design notes from the laid-back cool of California and the old-world style of France.

The East Nashville mainstay is currently offering takeaway brunch, as well as dinner and snack takeaway packs in perfectly portioned picnic sacks. The picnic tables on the premises have also been reorganized to honor the social distancing guidelines laid out by the city of Nashville.

Curious what's on the menu? Well, it will be changing depending on the week, so make sure to check Lou's official website or Facebook page for updates.

Starting May 15th, takeaway picnic options will include dinner sacks for $80, which might include a delicious option like spring pea salad and a shrimp boil, or a brunch sack that just might have a full breakfast cake involved. The breakfast options come in at $55. There are also snack sacks for $40, which include wine and snacks like doughnuts, lemon-roasted almonds and spelt crackers served with apricots, pistachios, and dark chocolate.

Lou knows how to serve up pure decadence no matter the season of socially distant requirement of the city. Each sack is meant to serve two humans, so make sure to order with the number of folks you're feeding in mind. There's no better springtime picnic in Nashville than one with Lou at the helm.

What do you say? Will you be joining? Lou is currently open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
