The Chocolate Factory In Nashville That’s Everything You’ve Dreamed Of And More
Olive & Sinclair is located in an old grocery in East Nashville, a sweet smelling spot that’s tucked away from the bustling traffic of Gallatin and Five Points. It’s one of our city’s proudest small businesses, one that you can tour and taste and breathe in – it’s an experience in itself. Plus, you can find Olive & Sinclair Products sold all around town, from Whole Foods to small specialty shops. We’d say the tiny chocolate factory is a winner! Care to visit with us…?

Olive & Sinclair was founded in 2007 and caught the uplift of Nashville's transplant infusion in 2009. It has since grown into a local destination, and a great spot for tourists looking for a taste of Tennessee chocolate. PS: Free samples come with the tour!

Did you know that Olive & Sinclair is the only bean-to-chocolate factory in Nashville? It's true! Each caramel, every single chocolate bar is planned and handcrafted. This is a truly delicious representation of southern hospitality, wouldn't you think?

Melangeurs, or more colloquially known as stone mills, are used for grinding their chocolate beans. They harken back to the early 1900s, and tradition continues with the usage of pure cane brown sugar throughout each and every product. This is a company of chocolatiers that take it REAL seriously!

Are you curious why there is no milk chocolate for purchase throughout the factory? You'll have to take the tour to find out why, but it's a pretty neat reason. Don't worry about your favorite candy bar, though - their duck fat caramels are sure to kill any yearning for another candy.

You'll want to plug 1628 Fatherland Street into your GPS if you're looking to visit, and plan for a forty-minute tour on Saturdays that run on the hour from 10am to 5 pm. It's $5 a person, and must be booked online ahead of time. You'll want to make sure you only bring littles over eight, though! Tiny tots may find it a bit boring - plus, some don't like to wear the (complimentary) hairnet.

You can enjoy flavors of chocolate that range fro ma coffee chocolate bar to a buttermilk white chocolate bar. The Mexican-style cinnamon chili is a solid choice, too - or even the bourbon nib brittle!

Olive & Sinclair is located in East Nashville, in an old grocery store building that was built in 1890. The gorgeous exterior matches the integrity of the interior, melding the spot into a perfect representation of Tennessee tradition. We put our heart and soul into what we do here, folks.

It's a true Nashville treasure, up there with the GooGoo Cluster if you ask us. Made in Nashville, honed in Nashville, loved by Nashville. Olive & Sinclair? We'll visit anytime!
