With more than 100 miles of hiking trails as well as boating and camping opportunities, it's one of the most trafficked natural areas in the state.
One of the most stunning views along the route can be found on the Natchez Trace Bridge, a stunning feat of architectural engineering that stretches itself long just outside of Franklin, Tennessee.

The two-lane concrete double arch bridge is something to look at in itself, but it's the view of the wooded valley below that really drops your jaw.

The bridge is also known as the Natchez Trace Parkway Arches, and it has its own stake in history as the first segmentally constructed concrete arch in the nation. It opened for vehicular and foot traffic on March 22, 1994.
