You’ll Never Forget A Trip To These 7 Waterfront Spots Around Nashville
Our heated Nashville summer is finally coming to a close, and you know what that means – get ALL your fun waterfront play time in right about now. Right now. Really quickly, squeeze that teensy bit of early fall heat into a party that honors the last throes of our summertime. It’s still a bit light outside, so grab your friends, round up the littles and make your way to one of these sweet waterfront spots in Music City.

Five acres of land hug the Cumberland River on the downtown side of central Nashville, with an outdoor amphitheater just steps away from Broadway and Honkytonk Highway.

This new park is located right across from Nissan Stadium, tucked under the pedestrian bridge and perfect for kids out and about or a quiet break from work.

This Madison park is perfect if you're looking for something tucked away from the rest of the world. It has water access to the Cumberland and a boat ramp, just for a perfect weekend out on the water.

Well, it's not waterfront - but it DOES have a darling pond that gives this West End park the clean and clear bite of watery beauty that it needs. Plus, this is where they host Shakespeare in the Park and multiple festivals throughout the year.

The famed bridge at Two Rivers Park connects it to Shelby Bottoms, and plays host to a number of bicyclists, joggers, and kids hanging out at the skate park. The view, though? Killer at sunset.

You'll have to head out towards west Nashville for a moment at Harpeth River State Park. Hidden Lake, pictured above, is going to make it on your top ten favorite day trips. It's epic.

At 960 acres, Shelby Park is the PLACE to go if you live in or around East Nashville. You can walk their greenway, run, watch Little League games, or spend a quiet moment by the water. It's positively lovely.
