Tucked away and a bit outside the city, Beaman Park is a quiet, protected park that offers you the seclusion you crave with a commute above all else.

This nature preserve offers gorgeous scenery and a couple of different options for hikers of all ages, even a playground and nature center if you're feeling up for it.

One of the two that make up the, "Warner Parks" name, Percy Warner has a wildly popular trail in Mossy Ridge - Taylor Swift has even been spotted here.

Located in Brentwood just fifteen minutes outside of Nashville, Radnor Lake is perfect if you're looking for a quiet walk to let the rush of the day run off you. It's quiet, only a couple miles with little difficulty. You'll have trouble going back to the city after this one.

It may hug a golf course, but the McCabe Loop runs along the west side greenway, which is great for those of you who are looking for the wilderness feel without having to strap on a pair of boots.

East Nashville is the owner of this stunning gem, with a 6.4 mile walking/jogging trail that stretches all the way to Opry Mills. There's even the option to rent bikes, if you're so inclined.

The Stones River Greenway hugs the river, giving you a couple of epic views from the protection of the trees.
