11 Things People Miss The Most About Nashville When They Leave
Nashville is a pretty wonderful place, and it’s become a top destination for folks relocating for a few years now. Unfortunately, some of us do have to bid adieu after awhile, and that means you spend the rest of your days missing the beautiful Music City homeland. Here’s what we would miss…
11. The job market.
It's not too hard to find a job out here, with our burgeoning job market. We're nationally ranked as one of the best spots for employment!
10. The housing prices.
There are so many young folks buying homes out here - because of that solid job market and low cost of living!
9. The community of artists.
There's something sweet about an infusion of creative people.
8. Each and every fabulous coffee shop.
And we have a lot of them! We're pretty well known for having some great spots for a cuppa'.
7. All the free shows. Not payin' is REAL nice.
Everyone wants to be a star, so Nashville is known to be saturated with talent.
6. The low-key treatment of celebrities.
There's no screaming and picture-taking out here - nope. They're just normal folk out here - and they like it like that.
5. The slow pace.
This ain't the big city and Nashville folks like it like that.
4. Loveless Café biscuits
Heaven on a plate is a pretty solid thing to miss.
3. Y'all as an accepted word.
It's a pretty helpful contraction, you know.
2. The best hot chicken out there.
It really doesn't get better than Nashville hot chicken, now does it?
1. The people. Forever the people.
We're inclined to say you'd find the nicest people in the south down here in Tennessee.
Ugh. We’re sad already. WE ARE NEVER LEAVING.
