If you’re looking for a quieter adventure, though, perhaps a night off, then you’ll want to make your way to one of these seven low key spots right off the main drag. They’re perfect for any day of the week – and? Every one is epic in its on way.
The gorgeous and stylish new Noelle Hotel is a true star of Nashville's downtown neighborhood. The beautifully designed space once operated as Noel Place, one of Nashville's first luxury hotels, which lends its historic charm to the hotel's upscale vibe.
Located just atop the Noelle is their rooftop bar, Rare Bird. It's been featured by the New York Times for its gorgeous design and stunning views of the city.
The Mother Church of Country Music is oft overlooked by penny-pinching tourists, but you should know that playing at the Ryman is a bucket list item for many a musician. If you see your favorite band play here, chances are you're watching them live out a dream.
Puckett's is off the main downtown drag but is well worth a visit. Come for your favorite southern fare, bbq and biscuits and such, but stay for the live music that's offered nightly. It's a great way to experience local talent!
The Hermitage Hotel is the epitome of true luxury in Nashville, so don't overlook it for those hip new hotels speckled throughout town. Each room averages 500 square feet of space (!!!), and this beautiful spot is even pet-friendly.
Come hungry, leave oh so full. The downtown Nashville Arcade is frequented by businessfolk who work the city circuit, and you should come to visit the tiny eateries that make up this beautiful and historic space. It even opens for an art walk during certain points of the year, if you're a creative.
The Nashville Public Library in downtown Nashville is one of the prettiest if least appreciated, buildings in the city. Soaring ceilings and oft-used marble gives way to massive reading rooms and tucked away corners filled with books and charm.
