While the Belle Meade and the Belmont Mansions get lots of attention in the Nashville area, you’ll be pleasantly rewarded by a short trip outside of the city to one of Tennessee’s oldest and finest frontier manors, Cragfont. Built in what is now Castalian Springs, Cragfont has a long and storied history that includes some of the biggest names in early Nashville. But all of that history still haunts the property, and if you visit, you just might encounter these ghosts for yourself.
