The Factory at Franklin may be full of shops now, but the building was originally a full-scale factory.
It was built in 1929 and has been home to Dortch Stove Works, Magic Chef, and the Jamison Bedding Company before being converted in to its present state in 1996.
Today, the Factory features 7 restaurants and food vendors, including Honest Coffee Roasters, a locally owned and operated specialty coffee shop.
There are also 25 different shopping vendors to peruse throughout the facility. Stores range from art galleries to music stores to local jewelers.
The Factory is also home to the Franklin Farmers Market, which takes place every Saturday morning of the year and features farmers from all around Middle Tennessee.
The Factory is the perfect one-stop-shop for buying gifts. You can truly find something for everyone simply by walking around to all of the different stores. It's like a mall for local artisans!
