Christmas is magic – we all know that, and we all revel in the opportunity to enjoy it once a year. With the holiday season reaching its pinnacle, we’ve scoured out a couple of magical Christmas towns that will keep the spirit alive for a LITTLE bit longer. Which is what we all want, right? Right.
The annual holiday parade is the main draw for Lawrenceburg, but the whole town dresses up just in time for the holiday season. It's a hidden gem, located about 90 minutes outside of Nashville.
Ah, Paris. You may not be the absolute CLOSEST to Nashville, but it sure makes for a great day trip. Check out the cute downtown and enjoy some fried catfish after a nippy walk in the cold. Paris is forever a wonderful place for lovers of the south.

The best place to antique in the Nashville area, Nolensville is great for families and couples, perfect for kids who have a hankering for Amish pies and perfect December Christmas parades.
Forty-five minutes from the city, Watertown is known for their annual Jazz festival and Christmas parade. If you're only going to visit for one of the two, then we'd most definitely recommend the latter. Why wouldn't you want to hang out with Santa in a tiny Tennessee town?

Check out the Leipers Fork Christmas parade and their sweet string of antique stores. You can have lunch at the original Puckett's and drive the long, winding country roads all the way back home.
Franklin has been noted as one of the cutest towns in the United States, and that doesn't change during the holiday season. The whole main street decks itself out in holiday regalia, perfect for a bit of shopping or mug of hot cocoa.
