Five Daughters Donuts took the city by storm a handful of years ago with the invention of their classic 100-layer donut, not unlike the famed Dominique Ansel cronut in NYC. 6. McGough's DoNuts - Madison
Once a Shipley's location, McGough's Do-Nuts has reworked a classic space to be a facet of Madison's donut scene. Newbie though it might be, we'd recommend this spot for all North Nashvillians looking for a warm apple fritter or iced cake donut. Yum!

7. The Donut + Dog - Hillsboro Village
Can't decide between salty and sweet?
