Center Hill Lake is a reservoir that's located near Smithville, Tennessee, stretching between DeKalb, White, Warren and Putnam counties.
Center Hill Dam is roughly 260 feet high, and was constructed in 1948 by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The dam itself was created to control flooding in the area, along with J. Percy Priest Dam, Wolf Creek Dam, and Dale Hollow Dam, and is also utilized for electricity production.

The lake itself covers 18,220 acres, and at 64 miles long it provides expansive room for fun in the sun. The lake has 415 miles of shoreline, and is a well-known spot for locals to take part in various water sports and fishing.
