Here in Nashville, we’re known for hot chicken dishes galore and biscuits spread liberally with butter and jam. Southern food is our heart, and there’s nothing like spending a few hours around a table, indulging and laughing with friends and family. But what about if you’re in the mood for something a little sweeter than your tea? Nashville just welcomed a fabulous new cookie bakin’ storefront, and you just might recognize the name: Christie Cookie Co.
The Christie Cookie Co. has long been a Nashville favorite dessert, made popular nationwide by DoubleTree but with the company has always had its roots tucked deep in the south.
The old-school bakery used to just offer web and mail orders, but the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville just became home to Christie's first storefront.

The new store offers all of your favorite cookie treats (Those chocolate chips cookies! Yum!) and a handful of seasonal cookies as well. There's even a walk-up cookie window that's perfect for passersby on the street.
Make sure you pop by at LEAST every once in awhile for their cookie of the month! You never know what these creative bakers are going to cook up...excuse us. BAKE up.
You may recognize the space as the old Sprinkles storefront, but those cupcakes have been solidly replaced by all sorts of cookies, ice cream sandwiches, brownies and cookie cakes.
Make sure to try out the "brookies"! Figure a delicious cookie mixed on up with a brownie and you have the delicious brookie of Christie's Cookies. You can indulge in a cool glass of milk or steamy coffee , and lemonade is always a favorite.
