Brunch is the best time of day for our millennial generation, but EiO & The Hive manages to take the hype of the younger folks and blend it with a real early morning breakfast AND brunch menu. Considered a fast-casual restaurant, you can expect delicious, healthy meals made with craft and quality. The Nations is working real hard on putting itself solidly back on the map – and it’s showing.
You can visit for yourself at 5304 Charlotte Avenue, from 7am-9pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-9pm on the weekends. Brunch is served until 3 pm on the weekends. Happy brunching!
EiO and The Hive strives to serve organic, locally sourced food that is intended to bring wellness and healing to the eater. And it's absolutely delicious to boot.
Just how good is the food? Well, head chef Dave Levitski was the runner-up on season 3 of Top Chef, and he's also worked at Nashville restaurants Sinema, Fin & Pearl, and The Hook.
Reservations aren't available for the restaurant, so you'll need to make sure you get there with plenty of time. Orders are placed at the bar, and guests are given numbers to find available tables.
The menu peaks at $16 for breakfast, making this place one of the more affordable foodie destinations in Nashville. They serve everything from "Not Yo Mama's Flapjacks" to fresh fruit smoothies.
EiO also serves excellent coffee, perfect to pair with their excellent breakfast. Try the matcha or turmeric latte! You won't be disappointed.
If you're looking for a little early morning desert, EiO also delivers in this arena. Try out their Chocolate Beet Brownie, topped with whipped goat cheese and white chocolate. No shame in this treat.
