The One Sandwich That Defines Nashville And Where To Find It
Although most folks have come to find Nashville synonymous with hot chicken, that’s not all the city was built on. Nope, not at all. Hot chicken may be a more recent development, but catfish is born and bred Tennessee territory. We’ve found a solid couple of restaurants scattered across the town that are perfect no matter where you’re located, each one offering up a catfish sandwich that’s great for an afternoon or evening indulgence.
The catfish sandwich is a classic Tennessee meal, offered all the way across the state but with a solid emphasis on Music City. Tourists may love hot chicken, but catfish runs in our blood.
