Nashville has some of the best restaurants in the South, if not the whole country. But when it comes to best in the whole world? Nashville has the corner on one particular food item, and it might not be what you’d expect. The Grilled Cheeserie has been dishing up some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve ever had since they opened their first food truck in 2010, but did you know that they just opened a storefront in early 2017? We pulled together some pictures and fun facts about this cheesy wonderland just for you.
The Grilled Cheeserie started as a food truck and quickly became one of the most renowned food trucks in the entire country! They've been serving up some of the best grilled cheeses in the country since 2010.
The truck was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and have been voted in the top ten of best food trucks in America by multiple websites and magazines.
The Grilled Cheeserie is owned and operated by husband and wife duo Joseph Bogan and Crystal De Luna-Bogan. Crystal was even trained at Le Cordon Bleu, so you know everything is going to be good!
The restaurant serves an expanded melt menu, featuring specialty melts, snacks, and a "Make Your Own Melt" option where you can select your own cheese, bread, and any extras you want!
They even teamed up with local artisans and craftsmen to construct the perfect space, reminiscent of the old school soda and sandwich shops from back in the day.
You can swing by the Grilled Cheeserie's wonderful concoctions at their store at 2003 Belcourt Ave in Nashville. They're open 11 AM to 9 PM every day.
