That spot is Kleer-Vu Lunchroom, but of course, once you’ve been, you’d never miss it again. Since 1976, this family-owned restaurant has been serving up two generations of soul food that can only be described as food so good you’ll think your grandma made it. See for yourself!
Kleer-Vu Lunchroom has been a staple of the Murfreesboro food scene since 1976, and let's just say that there's most definitely a reason that this restaurant has withstood the test of time.
That reason is their fried chicken. And the rest of their food, really (it's all so good!), but their fried chicken is known all around the area as the best that you'll be able to find anywhere.

Kleer-Vu is a cafeteria-style meat-and-three, which means your first stop in the restaurant is the hot bar where you'll pick out exactly what you want on your tray. Come hungry because you're going to want it all!

The folks at Kleer-Vu are some of the nicest you'll find anywhere, too. The restaurant has been owned and operated by the same family since it opened, with the second generation now operating it. There's so much local history just in this unassuming building.
While many of the menu items change depending on the day that you visit Kleer-Vu, you can always be assured that they'll have their famous fried chicken on the menu.
Whatever you do, just be sure that you save some room for dessert! You're sure to get a portion as big as your head, but it's so good, you'll still walk away wanting more.
