10 Things All Belmont University Alumni Know To Be True
Belmont University is a quickly growing private college right in the heart of downtown Nashville. It’s known for its incredible music and music business programs, its stunning campus, and its sterling reputation across the state as one of the best schools Tennessee has to offer. And did we mention that the Lady Bruins are the only women’s basketball team in the country to have an all-time winning record against the Lady Vols? So that basically makes Belmont #1 overall, right? Anyway, here’s 10 things about Belmont that all of its alumni know to be deeply, deeply true.

Probably. At least, that's what they always say on the tours.

Want to hang out on the quad? You better get there at 7 a.m. to make sure you actually get a spot.

Belmont takes a lot of pride in its grounds and so do its alumni! There's always blooming flowers everywhere you look.

This has been going on for as long as anyone can remember. Probably back all the way to 1890.

It's one of the best in the country for good reason. It's right on Music Row, and many of its alumni have gone on to do incredible things in the music industry (Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, the list goes on).

"It's okay — I can get all of my chapel convo later." — every Belmont student ever up until the last month of senior year.

Yes, we know this isn't a picture of a dorm, but that's beside the point. The point is that Pembroke is full of bros and Hail is full of weirdos. Sorry, but it's true.

Why doesn't everywhere in Nashville accept these things? We're just glad that Chago's finally does.

Peak season is the first two weeks of school where there are freshmen LITERALLY EVERYWHERE around campus playing jam circles 24/7.

It may have its quirks, but it's still the school that we love.
