Visiting This One Garden In Nashville Is Like Experiencing A Dream
Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art is known for its stunning holiday lights displays and art pieces that they feature throughout the year. But it’s in the garden that the heart of the museum is found, and we’re about to show you how. (Plus, it’s PERFECT if you’re looking to bring along the littles – they’ll simply fall in love.) Make a visit to this Nashville garden ASAP, folks.

Cheekwood is located in west Nashville, at 1200 Forrest Park Drive. It welcomes close to a quarter of a million visitors every year, and is known nationally for its beauty.

The gardens are located on the historic Cheek estate, the mansion on the property having been built in 1929. It is known as a perfect exemplification of an American Country Place Era estate.

The grounds were originally inhabited by Leslie and Mabel Cheek before it was converted completely into a museum and garden exhibition in the 1960s.

The gardens are also VERY kid-friendly - there are two model trains that run on three separate tracks, AND a treehouse!

There's simply nothing more majestic than a southern mansion surrounded by the lush greenery of Middle Tennessee.

There are 150,000 bulbs that bloom in the springtime, and Cheekwood puts up ONE MILLION lights at Christmastime. Truly a place to visit all year, wouldn't you think?

Cheekwood has since been known to host world-class art exhibitions as well as keep up their renowned gardens.

A historical landmark that truly holds the heart of Tennessee, we're forever in love with Cheekwood.
