Baked On 8th made waves a few years ago when the small local bakery opened their doors on the oft-ventured and highly popular Eighth Avenue South. The exterior is simple, with a beautiful, very Nashville-esque mural painted on the side wall, and the interior studded with a myriad of sweet treats.

Cookies, cakes, pies and brownies are the name of the game at this locally owned bakery. Locals rave about the highly inventive cereal treats on the menu, and every brownie is balanced with a blondie.

The fresh interior is highly contemporary, with blonde wood accents and a cheeky neon light that reads, "Baked In Nashville" fixed to the wall.

Cakes are available in full or by the slice, and specialty treats can be ordered ahead of time for your family events as well.

All the treats at Baked On 8th on made on the premises with the freshest ingredients available. It seems rare that such an Instagrammable space is also purely delicious, but Nashville knows how to serve up sweets with a side of social media aesthetic, it seems.

Frothy Monkey coffee is available as well as a small espresso bar for well-crafted caffeinated beverages. Although Baked On 8th is not a purely gluten-free facility, they do offer gluten-free items. All you have to do is ask!

Visit Baked On 8th for yourself from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
