Nashville has plenty of flashy and trendy restaurants, but there’s special place in the heart of every Nashvillian for that local hidden gem or the neighborhood hangout. In South Nashville, near the Fairgrounds, that spot is Interasian Market & Deli. You might not find a ton of people hanging out there, but you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone in the neighborhood that hasn’t had the market’s legendary bahn mi. The Interasian Market and Deli in South Nashville might not look like much as you drive by it on Nolensville Pike, but it's one of Nashville's best-kept secrets.
The market isn't huge by any means, but you can honestly find a greater selection of fresh produce here than at most of the local Krogers. They really have everything that you might be looking for and more.
What they're known for, though, is the incredible bahn mi that they serve at their sandwich counter. Most lists put it in the top 3 in the city if not the best of them all.
They also have other options for grab-and-go lunches. Since it's so close to downtown, this is a great option for anyone looking to get out of the office for lunch.
They do serve other traditional hot plate meals as well! You really can't go wrong when it comes to Interasian Market.
