The Whole Family Will Love This Apple Orchard And Farm Right Outside Of Nashville
It’s officially that time of year, folks. The temperatures are cooling down, the leaves are getting ready to change, football season is here, and apple cider is overflowing from the grocery store shelves. And while you can get that cider at the store, you’d be doing yourself a favor by heading to a local orchard and getting it from the source. One of those orchards around Nashville is the Shade Tree Orchard and Farm in Adams. It’s the perfect spot to bring the whole family, pick some fresh, delicious apples, and bring in the fall season right.

Shade Tree Farm and Orchard is everything you would want in an apple orchard, and it's only a 40-minute drive from downtown Nashville!

Every fall, Shade Tree opens up their orchard to the community, inviting them to pick apples straight from the trees.

While the apples from the trees can go fast, there are always freshly picked apples in the farm store on the property.

But if you think the store only has apples, you'll be happily mistaken. They serve all kinds of stuff from baked goods to kitchen knick-knacks.

They also make their own cider, which they sell fresh in the store. It's worth the trip just for the cider alone. Trust us.

The apple picking season starts in September and runs through the end of October. Every year, Shade Tree highlights the season with their Fall Festival, which features bounce houses, apples galore, and a petting zoo!

You'll find Shade Tree Farm & Orchard at 2087 Kinneys Rd. in Adams. They're open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the end of October. More information about their products and events can be found on their website.
While you’re out and about, but sure to check out this adorable small town that is all just outside of Nashville.
