Mountain City, Tennessee is the proud home of an annual sunflower festival, a highly acclaimed local event that draws crowds both from the immediate surrounding area and across the state. If you’re in love with the yellow and black flowers that grace every summer with a bit of beauty, then Mountain City in July is where you need to be. It’s back for its 15th year!
The Mountain City Sunflower Festival will take place on July 13th, 2019 for its 15th year running. Great for all ages, this eclectic and fun local event is a family-friendly homage to the great sunflower of the south.
The event itself takes place all day on Main and Church Streets, shutting down the bustling small town thoroughfare to welcome over eighty local vendors.
