Here in Tennessee, there’s only one place that keeps locals AND tourists coming back for more – and it’s Mitchell Delicatessen.
East Nashville prides itself on being the hipster crown jewel of Nashville, Tennessee, but we're more enthused about their sandwich situation than their Zagat rated fine eateries and wine bars.
Mitchell Deli, or "Mitchell's," as locals lovingly refer to it, has been in business for ten years and continues to create fabulous sandwiches crafted from high-quality meats and cheeses. Mitchell's has been honored multiple times as the "Best Sandwich" of the city by The Tennessean and The Nashville Scene.

Here, you can see the team working hard to create some lucky guy's delicious lunchtime or dinnertime indulgence. The menu at Mitchell's has expanded with its business and continues to only grow as a local fan favorite.
The Caprese sandwich is one of our favorites, mainly because of how fresh and delicious it tastes on a hot summer day. Still, most folks plan to visit for a Turkey Avocado indulgence. Layered with turkey, bacon, avocado and your choice of condiments and cheese, this sandwich indulgence is downright dreamy.
If you're looking for a spot of breakfast, however, you'll want to check out the breakfast hot bar that's offered throughout the week. It's where you can get the freshest breakfast burrito in the city and it's stuffed full of eggs, meat and cheese.
Most of the meat used at Mitchell's is smoked in-house, and all roast beef and sausages are homemade as well. A majority of ingredients are sourced from local farms, including the salad bar fare, which means that you're supporting all of Tennessee when you grab a bite from this fabulous local deli.
