Tennessee’s Massive Wildfire Is Spreading And It’s Truly Tragic
A smoky sky has become all too common for residents of Eastern Tennessee. This month has seen tragedy and devastation as wildfires continue to plague this part of the country, which also includes North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. While nearly 4,000 firefighters have been diligently protecting land, people, and property from further damage, it appears as though these fires continue to spread. The resort areas of Gatlinburg are evacuated and burning, which is not only heartbreaking, but particularly concerning, since many families and visitors flock to this area over the holidays.
