10 Things Longtime Tennesseans Wish They Could Tell Newcomers
Tennessee is a fun state to visit, but an even better state to make your own. We were chatting with some born and bred Volunteer State folk the other day, and they came up with a list of 10 things they would LOVE to tell every newcomer that cracks their home state lines. Take a look, and let us know if you agree- and maybe pass these words of wisdom on to those who need it.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
How about you, native Tennesseans? What kind of advice would you give to newcomers to help them get used to their new home?
PS: Check out this hidden gem for a unexpectedly wonderful year-round destination.
