The One Of A Kind Festival You Won’t Find Anywhere But Tennessee
The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival is coming up (real quick!) in May, and it’s one of the most enjoyable experiences in Middle Tennessee. We did some hard digging on what you can expect – fun and wallet-wise – so that you can take a jaunt out to Franklin with us in tow. You ready for an adventure?

The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place in the Westhaven community area of Franklin, by the community lake. There's live music, food trucks and craft vendors that give the festival a holiday atmosphere. In order to keep the event fun for everyone, ticket sales are limited to 5,000 people. The festival will take place on May 6th, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:30 in the evening. It's four hours of magic and loads of fun!

Tickets are $15 for general admission, and $50 if you're looking for VIP tickets. The VIP slot will give you exclusive and fabulous seating, two beer tickets, access to the kids zone and a commemorative t-shirt. Sounds like quite the deal to us!

All the balloons stay on the ground, allowing you to get up close and personal with the "gentle giants." They'll light up the night sky, making for a gorgeous view. The balloons will be lit up at dusk, and will remain lit for a little over an hour. It's a magical sight, reminiscent of a fairy tale. Feel free to bring Fido if you'd like, too. The event is dog-friendly!
