If you have a heart for the mountains and love the idea of a low-key, low-stress wedding, then you’ll want to check out this incredible Hillbilly Wedding Chapel tucked away in the heart of the Tennessee mountains. Fun, quirky and all-around unique, this is the kind of place that requires a sense of humor and a deep love for your partner. Find out how you can get married at this one of a kind wedding chapel!
Hillbilly Weddings is a Gatlinburg-based Tennessee wedding chapel that specializes in simple, hillbilly-themed ceremonies with a whole lot of heart.
The chapel and business is operated by Dan, an ordained minister and native Tennesseean. Born and raised in Bristol, he's the true definition of a mountain man.
There are multiple locations to tie the knot at his Gatlinburg Hillbilly Wedding Chapel, and he makes sure that you have the opportunity to invest in the space that's right for you.
If you're looking for a simple basic Christian ceremony, as outlined on his official website, it's a $75 fee for the ceremony and Christian minister to officiate.
The bouquet and boutonniere are included, and there's no charge for photography if you bring your own camera. The ceremony is brief but highly spiritual, a beautiful beginning to what will hopefully be a long life shared with your partner.
You can choose to be married either in the rustic Mountain Chapel or perhaps the garden, depending on your personal aesthetic. Simple, beautiful and downright Tennessean, Dan provides unique wedding services that will forever stand the test of time.
Many new lives have begun in these gardens, beneath the arch of the wedding chapel and amongst the gorgeous backdrop of Tennessee's smoky mountains.
If you're looking to tie the knot, make sure to head on over to 640 Tank Hill Road in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Contact Dan first, of course. Who knows how many Hillbilly Weddings are in store for 2019!
A hillbilly wedding chapel is pretty neat, but so is
a shop completely dedicated to peanuts! You may just want to check it out if you’re ever in Nashville.
