If your “weekend getaway” happens to fall on a Thursday between May and October, be sure to stop by one of the biggest and most bountiful farmers markets we’ve seen. With over 30 vendors from farm and food to arts, crafts, and homemade goodies, there is something for everyone.
You’ll find a wide selection of your farm favorites from corn, squash, beans, leafy greens, and eggs to watermelon, tomatoes, potatoes, and even peaches so sweet and juicy you’ll be trying to lick your elbow to get every last drop of peach-tactic nectar.
The Goodlettsville farmers market, located on the lawn and in the parking lot of the Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center at Moss-Wright Park, is open on Thursdays, May through October.
Being so close to the legendary music city of Nashville, Goodlettsville is no slouch in the music department itself. From old-time favorites like Leroy Troy to up-and-coming singer-songwriters, you will find amazingly talented musicians and performers year-round in Goodlettsville.
