Falls Mill is a hidden historic gem in the midst of Belvidere, Tennessee, and the newly revamped space utilizes on-site tours and museum space to tell the story of the past.
Falls Mill is a former textile factory that's located in Belvidere, Tennessee. The historic space is as beautiful as it is legendary, stunningly situated along the waterfront and flanked by foliage.
Falls Mill is still hydrolically powered by its working water wheel, one that powers equipment on each of the now-museum's four levels. The museum is tucked away in south Tennessee, and it is open for tours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday.
The building was constructed in 1873 and initially used as a woolen and cotton factory. It was later completely converted to be utilized both as a a cotton gin and woodworking shop.

The location is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is also open throughout the year as a bed and breakfast. It's a beautiful place to visit, especially if you're looking to experience the Museum of Power and Industry and see a 32-foot working waterwheel.
Although the bed and breakfast can be booked throughout the year, admission to the museum is open from April to mid-December. You'll get to watch an introductory video, then a self-guided tour will take you both around the scenic grounds and through the building.
