But what about horseback riding trails for the wintertime and lighthouse road trips during the summer? That’s exactly what we thought, we we’ve found TEN epic things you probably haven’t thought about doing in our pretty Volunteer State – but you definitely should.

Hidden Lake Loop in Harpeth River State Park is one of the best hikes for those of you looking to enjoy the great outdoors without the crazy long trail mileage. Just under two miles will take you out into the forest towards the once working quarry, now filled in with water and boasting a stunning lakeside trial.
