Everyone In Tennessee Must Visit This Epic Farmers Market At Least Once
Chattanooga: our favorite hiking city, a river town full of granola crunching hippies and true Tennesseans. The beautiful space has a reputation as one of the most naturally driven towns in the state, and for good, good reason. Let’s visit the Chattanooga Market, one of the most expansive and beautiful farmers markets in the state. Perfect for locals and tourists alike!

The Chattanooga Market is located on the Southwest side of downtown Chattanooga, right next to Finley Stadium. If you're looking for it on a GPS, though, look at: 1829 Carter Street, Chattanooga TN 37408

The market is open every Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and there is plenty of parking on site.

All of the vendors (except for the food trucks) are set up in the First Tennessee Pavilion, which means that the market is on, rain or shine.

Did you know that the Chattanooga Market is the largest producer-only public market in the Southeast? It's facts like this that make it easy to see why the Market is such a favorite.

The Market is the perfect place to peruse produce, but the market also features local arts and craft vendors, as well as many local food trucks every weekend.

One of the big draws for the locals who frequent the Market is the live music. Each weekend features different musicians performing live on stage -- a perfect backdrop for a Tennessee Sunday afternoon.

Each week features a different theme. Some themes from this year have included or will include fried chicken, street food, strawberries, and guitars.

As if supporting local vendors and farmers wasn't enough reason to go, the Chattanooga Market also partners with many local non-profit organizations. In 2015 alone, they helped raise over $200,000 for local charities.
What a neat place – you should make a point to visit! Did you know that Tennessee has a roller coaster road?
