Hops and Hollers is a low-key beer garden in Knoxville, Tennessee that includes craft beers on tap, a revolving roster of food trucks, and a dog-friendly patio that’s perfect for Fido. Located just outside of the city’s downtown, it’s a great spot to grab a bite to eat and shoot the breeze with folks after work.

Inside you will find a healthy cluster of tables and bar seating for small and large groups, and the Knoxville-centric décor is bound to get a thumbs up from any local. Hops and Hollers was honored by CraftBeer.Com as a top winner in the “American Beer Bars” category from 2018 to 2020, and it remains a great place to gather with a pint.

Of course, it’s the massive outdoor patio that really takes the cake. There are plenty of outdoor games like bocce ball, ping-pong, corn hole, and foosball, and the entire beer garden is Fido-friendly. Yes, it’s true! Puppy pals are encouraged.

Bring your best canine friend (on a leash, of course) and meet other dog owners while you sip a craft beer. Visitors rave about the great selection and large beer garden, and with food trucks on-site from Thursday to Sunday it’s a perfect weekend hangout spot.

It looks like this little buddy is having a great time. He opted for the water though, no beer for him, which we feel is a wise choice.

The food truck offerings will differ week after week, so sometimes you may find yourself enjoying nachos one night…

...and a slice of pizza the next!

This pizza pie is from Wood Oven Eats, and if you check the official Hops and Hollers website you can see when the eatery sets up shop in the beer garden. Make sure you pair your pizza with one of the 32 beers on tap. If you’d rather enjoy a can of beer, keep in mind that there are 100 different varieties on-site.

You can check the food truck lineup under the “Happenings” tab on the official Hops and Hollers website. You will also find the weekly happy hour schedule and trivia nights listed on their respective dates as well.

Will you be joining in the fun? Hops and Hollers is open every day of the week from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and from noon to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This neat Knoxville beer garden is open from noon until 8 p.m. on Sundays as well. Happy dining!
