From salt and pepper shakers (we love this place!) to the grand Tennessee State Museum, it seems like lately there’s really something for everybody…even those who take heaps of enjoyment from old farming equipment. If you haven’t made your way to the Days Gone By Museum and consider yourself a tractor connoisseur, then you just might have a trip to plan.
The Days Gone By Museum is where you come to experience a treasure trove of historic farming equipment and antique tractors, where you'll find old cars and vintage airplanes on a beautifully rural stretch of Tennessee land.
The museum is perhaps best known for its Days Gone By Threshing and Tractor Show that takes place the first weekend in every October. It's a neat festival that shows off the antique equipment on the property and boasts live music and delicious food vendors.

It's a neat museum for folks of all ages, for some to remember the way things once operated and for the young folks to experience the way agricultural operations went about in the past.
The Days Gone By Museum really gives you the opportunity to take a stroll through history with more than 100 antique tractors and vehicles on the property.
If you're looking to get up close and personal with Tennessee history, then this Sumner County gem is a must-visit.
The museum itself is open from April to October, from 9am to 4pom Monday through Friday. Off-season appointments and tours are available, however, if you find yourself with a hankering for a historical experience in the heart of a Tennessee winter.
