Roan Mountain is a tiny little town of a little more than 1000 people, nestled in the rolling mountains of Northeast Tennessee. The town was founded in the 1800's around the railway that passed through the area.
The town may be small, but it's chock full of things to see and do. Bob's Dairyland, for example, is an area favorite for their delicious barbecue and world famous slaw.
