Cumberland Caverns is conveniently located between the great cities of Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, and Nashville, and has provided fun day trips beneath the surface of Ol' Rocky Top for years.

It's the largest show cave in the state and offers a series of spelunking adventures and group tours throughout the year. Folks have been known to visit for everything from a field trip to a wedding. Can you imagine tying the knot beneath the surface?!

The Caverns will take you 333 feet underground, where there are almost 30 full miles of underground cave systems and passageways awaiting adventurers.

Visitors will see everything from impressive rock formations to gurgling streams, underground waterfalls and pools of cool water on their trek through the Caverns.

Of course, social distancing mandates have made it a bit difficult to get outside and underground nowadays. Cumberland Caverns has closed their daily tours to the public, but have come up with a fun new way to experience the Tennessee caverns...
