You Could Spend All Day In This Enchanting Tennessee Garden And Never Grow Tired
Lush greenery and expansive grounds have long been the crowning glory of the southern United States. Although Tennessee isn’t touted as the Garden State (that’s all you, New Jersey), it may surprise you with some of the stunning botanical gardens scattered throughout the state. One of the most stunning of those examples is the Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, located in the forested hills of suburban Nashville. Cheekwood draws visitors from all over the world throughout the year, and once you see what this place has to offer, it’ll be easy to see why.

Those who aren't local to Nashville might not know of the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, but the site draws over 250,000 visitors a year, and it's easy to see why.

The gardens are located on the grounds of an old mansion (Cheekwood Estate), which was built in 1929 and is absolutely stunning.

The gardens have flowers that bloom throughout the year, so no matter when you find yourself in Nashville, Cheekwood is always a beautiful option for the whole family.

Their "Cheekwood Harvest" festival in the fall is a particularly popular time. They even make a house out of pumpkins every year!

Another popular time to go is in the Spring when the grounds are absolutely exploding with color in every direction you look.

But like we said, no matter what time you go, it's an absolutely stunning spot to wander around. They also put up tons of lights around the grounds and house during Christmastime.

Cheekwood is open year-round, but it does cost $20 per adult to visit. It's well worth the cost of admission, though, as it does allow for full exploration of the grounds and the estate. Visit today at 1200 Forrest Park Drive in Nashville, Tennessee.
