See Your Favorite Bands At The Bonnaroo Farm's New Summer Concert Series In Tennessee

The summer months in Tennessee promise endless opportunities for fun, from festivals and cook-outs to patio dining and live music shows. Of course, one of the most popular is the Bonnaroo music festival. Known to rival Coachella in California, Bonnaroo began in 2002 and has since expanded into what is now a 700-acre grand event. Although Bonnaroo 2021 has been delayed until September – it normally occurs the second Thursday in June – the music festival has pivoted with a neat new concert series.

On a normal year, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival welcomes up to 80,000 people. It is held on a large property in Manchester, Tennessee that is now known as Great Stage Park.

This year, Bonnaroo Farm will be hosting a series of in-person and socially distanced shows throughout the summer. The first artist to play? Jason Aldean! This is no schlep of a show, folks, with A-listers and newbies alike taking the stage.

All tickets are sold online and in 4-person "pods" to maintain safe social distancing standards.

Although the wild element of the big Bonnaroo will be on the back burner this year (just wait until September!) you'll still have the chance to see musical acts like The Avett Brothers and Jon Pardi play for a live audience. Masks are required when moving about the venue, but you can take your mask off when in your reserved area.

It's hardly enough to say that Tennessee has missed its live music culture in the past year, and Bonnaroo has done a great job pivoting with the times. Current dates for the Bonnaroo Farm run from May to July, but make sure to check the website linked below for any updates.

Keep in mind that the Bonnaroo Farm is still a concert venue, so you will be required to utilize clear bags upon entry which will be subject to inspection. Banners can be brought into the venue as long as they don't obscure the view of others, and everyone except children under 2 requires a ticket.
