Camping season is in full swing and while we couldn't be more excited, not all New Yorkers are interested in roughing it in the outdoors. Making it possible for you to experience the perks of sleeping out under the stars with Mother Nature all while enjoying the comfort of a cozy bed and luxury tent, glamping is a unique adventure to experience. Just minutes away from some of our favorite destinations and attractions up in the mountains, this one glamping getaway is something that's worth trying out this summer!
Just 10-minutes away from the village of Lake George, Adirondack Safari is a glamping getaway waiting for you in the Adirondack Mountains.
Located in Warrensburg, Adirondack Safari sets up their 40 luxury tents on 26-acres of flat terrain in the mountains.
Each luxury tent here comes fully furnished and is cozy as can be.
Adirondack Safari has it's own Camp Store on site, where guests can find basic necessities, charcoal, wood, and ice for sale for those who need it.
The Camp Store is also where you can rent tubes, island tubes, kayaks, and canoes from so you can spend the day out on the Schroon River while you're here!
Guests will have their choice of choosing a 2-person tent or one that can fit up to 4 and 6 guests, all equipped with either one, two, or three Queen-sized beds.
The luxury sites also all have electricity, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, fire pit, and solar lighting. If you're a Harry Potter fan, think of these glampsites as your own Perkins' tent!
When you're not enjoying your luxurious home-away-from-home, you can enjoy Adirondack Safari's outdoor lounge areas that are available to guests.
Adirondack Safari even has outdoor movies available! Talk about luxury camping.
Adirondack Safari's glamping season runs from now until September 3rd with weekends booking up the quickest, so you'll want to plan out your adventure sooner than later.
Easy to find just north of the village of Lake George, Adirondack Safari is actually set up at the Warren County Fairgrounds. During the summer Adirondack Safari also features Native American performances by the members of the Wampanoag Tribe and live music by Bluegrass performers.
