2. Lake Claiborne State Park

3. Silver Creek Campground

4. Holly Beach
Known as the "Cajun Riviera," Holly Beach is a lovely little beach area in Cameron Parish. You can park your truck right on the beach and enjoy a relaxing evening by the campfire with the Gulf of Mexico right at your fingertips.
5. Grand Isle State Park
You can set up camp right on the beach over at Grand Isle State Park! 6. Kisatchie National Forest
Comprised of more than 604,000 acres spread over five Ranger Districts, you can bet there are dozens of amazing campsites nestled in Kisatchie National Forest. You’ll see some of the roughest terrains Louisiana has to offer, but it will pay off when you see views like this one, off of the Backbone Trail.
7. South Toledo Bend State Park
One of two Louisiana state parks on the shores of the Toledo Bend Reservoir, South Toledo Bend State Park offers up some of the best fishing in the state. The 1,000-acre park also offers great options for those looking to go hiking or biking, and there is also a beach area for swimming. 8. Palmetto Island State Park
Located on the Vermilion River, this state park offers several activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Visitors can use the boat launch to access the river for fishing and boating, and the interior lagoons are great for canoers and kayakers.
