Which do you prefer to stay in when you travel: A hotel or an Airbnb? If you chose the latter, it probably means you need extra space, enjoy the additional amenities (like a kitchen or porch), or like staying somewhere with a unique history. Does that sound about right? If so, you are going to love today's feature, which is a beautiful old church that is now a home you can rent:
Welcome to the stunning Our Lady of Perpetual Motion XIX, a "lovingly restored historic church."
Located in Fruita, Our Lady of Perpetual Motion XIX was first established in 1921 and was later listed on the Colorado Register of Historic Places (as the Sacred Heart Church of Fruita) before becoming one of the most sought after accommodations in the state.
As soon as you step foot in the church, you will be wowed by its stunning transformation, beginning with a spacious main level complete with a luxurious seating area, modern kitchen, and dining room.
In addition to the gathering spaces, the main level also boasts 4 comfortable bedrooms (with names like Mother Superior and Saint Sophia's room), a full bathroom, and a steam room.
As if the sprawling main floor wasn't spacious enough, Our Lady also offers a beautiful second level with even more bedrooms and bathrooms, plus another dining and seating area.
Need we mention that the home also features the church's original stained glass?
