There are a lot of unique Airbnbs in Arizona, but the factors that set this vintage airstream apart from all the others are twofold. Not only does it offer a glimpse back into simpler times, but it also boasts some of the most incredible mountain views you've ever seen. Come stay for a while and enjoy a break from reality. You'll be thankful you did!
When it comes to unique Airbnbs in Arizona, you'll be hard-pressed to find one more charming than this restored 1965 Airstream.
Known as "Airstream Dreaming," this retro trailer is located just 15 minutes from Flagstaff, yet it offers so much peace and quiet, you'll feel like you're a million miles away from it all.
Situated on half an acre of private land, the secluded trailer is 25 feet long and sleeps up to four guests.
There is one queen bed in the back of the space, plus a couch that folds out into a full-size mattress (with linens provided).
Despite having been built almost 60 years ago, the Airstream underwent extensive renovations to restore it to its former glory.
Guests will enjoy a number of modern conveniences, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a TV with a DVD player.
Other amenities include basic appliances such as a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, mini fridge, and outdoor grill, plus cooking necessities like spatulas and utensils/dishware.
The hosts even include a little snack bar to keep you fueled while you explore the beautiful surrounding area!
There is one full bathroom with a shower - the water tank is rather small, so quick showers are encouraged to ensure the water stays hot.
Equally as alluring as the trailer's historic charm are the expansive vistas it offers.
Watch the sunset between Mount Elden and the San Francisco Peaks while keeping warm by the fire and reveling in the sweet reality of an empty to-do list.
You can rent Airstream Dreaming year-round, however, if you enjoy wildflowers, August or September would be your best bet.
Winter is also a great time, as the stillness and snow-covered ground make for an unparalleled sense of peace.
Visit the property's Airbnb listing for more information, such as the current nightly rate.
