On the hunt for a job in Ohio? Ever wondered where the best places are in Ohio to find a job? Based on Ohio's July 2015 unemployment rates via the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the following cities are the 10 best cities in Ohio to find a job. (Unemployment rates and labor force estimates are calculated by place of residence and are not seasonally adjusted. Additionally, only cities with populations of 25,000 or more are included.)
1. Dublin
With an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent and a labor force of approximately 24,300, Dublin ranks as the top city in Ohio for employment. About 800 residents are currently unemployed, with about 23,500 currently employed.
2. Upper Arlington
Currently, the city of Upper Arlington has an unemployment rate of 3.3 percent and a labor force of about 18,500. Approximately 17,900 residents are employed, and approximately 600 residents are unemployed.
3. Hilliard
Hilliard currently has an unemployment rate of 3.5 percent and a labor force of about 17,400. Approximately 600 residents are unemployed, while approximately 16,700 are employed.
4. Gahanna
Currently, Gahanna's unemployment rate is 3.6 percent, with an approximate labor force of 20,100. About 700 residents are unemployed, and about 19,300 are employed.
5. Westerville
Westerville also has an unemployment rate of 3.6 percent, with a labor force of about 21,600. Approximately 800 residents are unemployed, and approximately 20,800 are employed.
6. Grove City
With an unemployment rate of 3.7 percent and a labor force of approximately 20,800, about 800 residents are unemployed and about 20,000 are employed in Grove City.
7. Delaware
Currently, Delaware has an unemployment rate of 3.8 percent and a labor force of approximately 20,200. About 800 residents are unemployed, and about 19,400 are employed.
8. Mason
With an unemployment rate of 3.9 percent and a labor force of approximately 16,300, about 600 residents are unemployed, and about 15,600 are employed in Mason.
9. Beavercreek
Beavercreek also has an unemployment rate of 3.9 percent, with a labor force of about 22,700. Approximately 900 residents are unemployed, and approximately 21,800 are employed.
10. Reynoldsburg
Currently, Reynoldsburg has an unemployment rate of 4 percent, with a labor force of approximately 20,700. About 800 residents are unemployed, and about 19,900 are employed.
