There’s No Attraction In The World Quite Like This One In Southern California

It may be raining inside this museum in Southern California, but no need to bring an umbrella as you won’t get wet. I’m referring to the Rain Room at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Have you heard about this mind-blowing exhibit? You can walk, sing or dance in a room that’s pouring down rain and stay nice and dry the entire time as the rain falls down all around you. If it sounds too unbelievable to be true, take a look at the Rain Room in action and you’ll be scratching your head in wonder.

Please note, the Rain Room has permanently closed.

It’s hard to fathom this with just a photo, so let’s see it in action. Here’s an incredible 90-second video captured by Justine Sto.Tomas and Noor Gill of the UCLA Daily Bruin that shows what it’s like to experience this magnificent masterpiece:

If you think this looks awesome in photos and videos, just wait until you see it in person. Not only is it a breathtaking thing to experience, but it’s also the perfect spot to snap a bunch of pictures of friends and family being silly in the rain. Admission to the museum and the Rain Room is $30, with discounts offered for members, children, and seniors. You can get more information at the LACMA website. So what are your plans for this weekend? I have a hunch you might be heading to the Rain Room!
