About an hour north of Los Angeles is an explore-worthy gem hidden in plain sight. Tucked in a suburban area, this former ranch is named after the first cowboy movie star of the silent film era, William S. Hart, who owned and occupied the property. This underrated space holds a special place in my heart and fond memories of my grandparents bringing me here as a child. I even had my photo taken by a reporter while feeding a horse at the park. I thought this place was enchanting then and not much has changed. Beautifully preserved and maintained, Hart Park in Santa Clarita, CA is full of natural beauty, hiking trails, and furry animals. Check it out!
