This 4.5-Mile Trail In Southern California Leads To Three Waterfalls
At about an hour-and-20-minute drive from San Diego, the Three Sisters Falls Trail is the perfect spot to enjoy a day away from the city without having to travel too far. The trail leads you through a beautiful section of Cleveland National Forest to three waterfalls!
If you’re looking for gorgeous waterfalls, this is the right spot. The trail is magnificent the whole way through, and the moderately challenging route is definitely worth the lovely view of the three waterfalls.
Depending on the time of day, you may even get to see the magical-looking low-hanging mist in the valley. Low clouds are a rare sight in desert Southern California, so it’s a special treat to get to see them here.
When you reach the falls, you’ll absolutely want to stop and stare for a while. This trail is best in the cooler months of the year, as the waterfalls sometimes run dry in the more arid summer season.
While this trail can be challenging and is suited best to those with hiking experience, you can take your time and really take in the beautiful views, especially the three waterfalls!
The Three Sisters Falls Trail is the best place to go for a nice, long hike and some striking features. You won’t believe how incredible the picturesque hike is!
