Star Wars Land Is Opening In Southern California And It Looks Amazing
Jedi warriors near and far will soon be able to unite in a unique world of their own that’s unlike anything else they’ve ever experienced. A place many of us have long dreamed of being able to visit, Disneyland in The Golden State will (relatively) soon feature its very own Star Wars Land. While the rumors of this place have been discussed for years, this week the Disney Parks Blog provided us with a glimpse of what we can expect to see once things are complete in 2019.
This attraction is coming to each of America's coasts; both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida will be home to their own Star Wars Land.
It's Disney's largest single-themed land expansion to ever be made, and attractions from the park's Frontierland were closed in order to make room for this otherworldly park.
In a world we've never seen before that's become a refuge of sorts, guests walking through Star Wars Land will see unusual characters that have traveled all across the galaxy to come here in hope of escaping the First Order.
While many of the park's details are still being kept under wraps, we know that we can expect to see the Millennium Falcon that guests will be able to board and pilot themselves.
After taking a ride in the galaxy's fastest ship, guests can explore the street market where they'll be able to discover places to eat and even drink blue milk.
Disney is working hard to make sure that Star Wars Land feels authentic in a matter of epic proportions. We can't wait to explore this world that Disney is putting together!
To stay up to date with what's going on with this section of the park, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog where you can find the most recent release of information from this week.
