The Unique, Out-Of-The-Way Nature Center In Southern California That’s Always Worth A Visit

Southern California’s beaches are so popular that sometimes our other destinations can end up ignored. One spot that’s often missed by tourists is Shipley Nature Center, an 18-acre park filled with native plants. The nature center is both relaxing and informative. You’ll feel miles away from the chaos of Huntington Beach’s more touristy areas as you stroll through the grounds.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:

For more information about the Shipley Center such as hours of admission and a calendar of events, check out its website.
