From a suspension bridge to a truss bridge and a car and pedestrian bridge dating back to the early 1900s, this urban walk in SoCal has a little bit of everything.

SoCal may be known for its abundance of trails, but oftentimes people overlook the urban trails hiding in plain sight that are located in the heart of the city.

Cabrillo Bridge is both a car bridge and pedestrian footbridge that dates back to 1915.

For example, this refreshing trail in the city of San Diego will lead you to seven unique bridges that are a delight to experience on foot.

There's no right or wrong way to experience the Seven Bridge Walk in SoCal.

Head out to walk across only a few of the bridges, or carve out enough time to experience all seven.

If you complete the entire trail, you can plan on a route that's approximately six miles from start to finish.

If you can stomach it, a walk across the Spruce Street Suspension Bridge will make your palms sweat! It's one of the most impressive bridges you'll ever experience.

No need to leave your four-legged friends at home as dogs are more than welcome to come along with you. Just make sure they are properly leashed at all times.
